Consigning your cloths at Spanky's can be very profitable for you. With a little care and effort, you will reap rewards as it helps stretch your budget big time! It's really easy and oh-so-worth-it.

Style
We have found that current in style are generally no older than 3-4 years. There are a few exceptions to this rule since not all current items will sell well in our store. Our customers have a discerning eye and expect our racks to offer the very best choices and accessories. And, that's why our consignment takers work hard to constantly learn what is new in labels, styles and quality. Remember, what you buy others have consigned. What you consign, we want others to buy.

Condition
It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway. Spanky's customers are looking for items that are clean, pressed (your iron is your friend), and in great condition. Items with mothball smells, pilling, soil, smoke odors, and other flaws do not sell. We try to put the very best quality possible on our racks.

Season
Just like other department stores, we want to have stock on our racks for the appropriate seasons. When shorts and tank tops are what our shoppers need, they will not be looking for a parka... See "How To Consign" to see what we mean by "Seasons".
